• Retying the Knot - Part 2

Remember the story I told you yesterday? Of a couple who had to remarry. Because they lost their Nikahnama?
Well, I forgot to mention one tiny detail.
    Like one tiny-little-bean-shaped tiny detail.
    Like one tiny-little-bean-shaped-tiny-sitting-in-bride’s-tummy tiny detail.
A tiny little, 8 week old, enjoying the wedding laddus of his parent’s second wedding, tiny detail.
    😳
Fast forward 6 months and the bride delivers
    the “The tiny-little-detail”.
She delivers it prematurely in her 8th month of pregnancy.
Ah now whose doing the math with me?
    Anyone?
See I’m bad at calculations so I don’t care for the math. But you know who does?
The guy making the child’s passport. The one sitting in Pakistan Embassy with parent’s marriage certificate and child’s birth certificate in front of him.
He cares for math so much he makes sure to call and ‘Check’.
“Hello....... Salam.... yes?....... oh yes...... 6 months? Ummm .....*awkward laughter*..... immature? Oh you mean premature, yes very very premature....... tiny.... hardly a kilogram....kamzor as a murghi ka bacha..... *more awkward laughter* .... Jee Allah kai kaam..... yes yes.... Thankyou ..... ofcourse...... yes you are right brother.... we are Muslims after all....best to check...... *awkward silence *.... Wa/salam”
    🤭😶😐😬😳🤯
